Daddy needed a nap.
It is so relaxing to hold her, we fell asleep together.
Amelia and I are snuggling together under the blanket Sr. Zoe made for her.
I'll make it short tonight. Today was stable and uneventful. The Drs do not seem to be concerned with her small urine output or her high blood pressure and all her stats are basically consistent from test to test right now. She gained a few more grams, so now she's around 2lb 4ozs sans liquid. (Her current wt is actually 2lbs 7ozs, but they guesstimate she has an extra 3ozs of fluid in her.) They lowered the respirator repetitions a tad and everything seems fine.
I got to spend an uninterupted hour with her and Xina read Amelia her first Amelia Bedelia book today - much to my mother's chagrin.
Another of Amelia's Aunt and Uncle and 2 cousins came in town today to visit (though younger cousin was bummed she was too young to come into the NICU) and we all had a nice dinner. After dinner, we returned to be with Amelia and when it quieted, she was able to kangaroo some... she's still at it after about 2hrs, and everything seems peachy. During night rounds the Dr and head nurse also reiterated that she was stable and normal. Xina may be asleep in another 10 minutes, and I'll be able to sneak some good pics.
And that's all that's really fit to print. It's been very calm and steady.

I'm so glad that she's steady. Lots of prayers, Aunt Bocka
Now that's the kind of day we have all been praying for. Should she actually weigh 2lb4oz, she has gained one pound in the 3 1/2 weeks since birth! (She gets a little older and she won't be as happy with a pound a month weight gain.) Can't wait to see any new pictures of our little angel. Keep up your steady vigil, continue to keep us well informed--we love you, MOM
