Pictures from Amelia's Incubator

Look at how tiny her diapers are...even then they have to be folded around her legs and they swim on her.

This is her home for a while. The nurses made a cute little sign with her name on it. We are allowed to store things in the drawer underneath and have begun keeping little items for her scrap book. We also have shelf space behind the incubator and we have begun decorating it with stuffed animals, rosaries, finger puppets, etc. A girl has to have flair!

Dang, I need a mani. You can seehow little she is compared to my hands. She is wearing her sassy 1970s style adidas goggles. They are protecting her eyes from the billirubin lights.

She has perfectly formed fingers and toes. She looks so long and lanky. I wish I could see her eyes! Hopefully if she starts eating breast milk she will fatten and fill out.

Welcome to the world, little one. Heaven was stormed with prayers for your safe arrival. We continue to pray for healthy growth and look forward to the day when we can cradle you in our arms. Love, Grammy

Oh my goodness, so little but so complete already! Todd, Christina, with you as parents you know Amelia will be strong. She just couldn't wait to meet you since you're both such great people. You're in our thoughts as we too pray for healthy growth. Love, Clem, Jamie, Marlie and Thomas

Christina, thank you for creating this little space so we can get to hear how things are going and get to know Amelia. I am glad to see that you still have your wits about you and your fantastic sense of humor! All our best to you, Todd, and your beautiful, stylish, retro daughter.
