Yesterday was not PT as the nurse told me, but OT. Todd wanted to be there for PT so he met me up at the hospital in time for the OT lady to instruct me for the second time on how to hold a pacifier so Amelia will suck properly. Not really worth taking the afternoon off for...hopefully, we will really meet up with PT next week.
We had a nice visit. We held her, read to her, sang her songs, played with her hands and feet and gave her lots of kisses. She was awake a lot. In the morning the nurse had gotten out a mirror and Amelia really enjoyed looking at her own reflection.
She weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. last night! Her middle is getting bigger and bigger and it it is getting harder to get things to fit around it, even though she has plenty of room in the legs. She needs a growth spurt in her length. Our tiniest princess is turning into the chubbiest princess.
