Visiting with Great Aunt Pat.
Don't you like my new bow? I have one in several colors to match all my outfits. Accessories are a key component to my recovery!
Hey, y'all!
Sucking on this pacifier makes me so tired!
Amelia is on CPAP of 6 and seems to be doing well. Her fiO2 has been around 55% since they lowered her pressure. If she continues to keep this up, it is conceivable that they could turn her pressure down to 5 on Friday. So everyone keep up your prayers and hope she can reach this milestone. The next step after CPAP of 5 is nasal cannula...and at that time she can start learning how to eat from a bottle! If they don't turn her down on Friday, it would be Monday before they would turn down her pressure...if she remains around 55% the whole weekend.
She was 7 lbs. 8 oz. at her weigh in last night. That is a 2 oz. gain in one day. That 30 calorie formula is really bulking her up. She will be ready to do some weight lifting soon.
Our night time primary will be on with her this weekend -- Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so we are really happy about that. Daytime is up in the air.

She has such beautiful, alert eyes! I love the pictures where she is gazing straight into the camera :)
