Nice to Meetcha

Grammy and Aunt Marian put together a very nice reception for everyone to enjoy after the baptism. It was held in the rectory next door to the church. There was a cake for each girl, a pink tangy punch and cross shaped candies to take home as favors. There were even fresh flower arrangements in pretty hobnail glass vases to decorate first the altar and then the tables.

We had so many family and friends come to meet Amelia for the first time. It was so nice that we had so many people come to join us in our celebration. There were people there that we have not been able to visit for a long time and so it was fabulous we were able to spend a little time with everyone. We just wish it could have been longer.

We did miss a couple people in particular that we thought were going to attend. However, we assumed that something unexpected must have arisen...
