Cannons, the Next Generation. We have a turn of the century photo with our family in front of this house and we are doing our best to recreate the shot.
All the cousins together in my parent's back yard.
Shockingly this show was what made Amelia stop crying. I am pretty sure I would have started crying at such a crazy sight.
All the cousins on the back of their great grandfather's pickup truck, a 1977 Ford.
The baptism had been unknowingly scheduled right at the time of kickoff of the Notre Dame vs. Purdue football game. When we figured this out we made sure to keep away from all TVs, radios and Internet (and did not answer phone calls from people who may have watched the game!) that might give away the score to the first Notre Dame football game of the season. We had recorded it in three different ways just to make sure if there were any technical glitches we had some backup places to go to. We finally gathered everyone around the TV and had some snacks. It was Amelia's first football game ever and she cheered, cheered for Old Notre Dame. ..and they won! So far so good.
