We are watching college football today. Right now is the Nebraska game and later is the Notre Dame game. Amelia is showing her spirit by wearing her dad's team's shirt and later she will be wearing a navy ND shirt to show alligience to mommy's team. She's a real people pleaser! She is occasionally looking at the TV, but she is also having fun digging through her box of toys and snuggling with Daddy and Asta.
Earlier today we went to Barnes and Noble for a story reading event. They read three books: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Take a Mouse to School and If You Give a Cat a Cupcake. They passed out cookies before the reading and she held it in her hands a crumbled it (well half, because I ate the other half). After the reading we got to meet a life size mouse and get our picture taken with her/him/it? She paid attention the entire time and loved the mouse. She is going to be a very well behaved and attentive student one day.

Asta is looking like he thinks Amelia's "toy" would taste better than his.......and is probably wondering how he can get it from her. On the other hand maybe that is a " Hey--she just beaned me with that thing" look..............Love Grammy/MOM
