whew... playtime is tiring.
Amelia's regressed some since our last post. Her lungs retained some fluid after they took away her diuretics, and as a result, she needs more oxygen support. They restarted the one they took away and have given her some extra lasix doeses to try and dry her out as quickly as possible. Thus far, she is still a little wet. They may start her on steroids again to get her oxygen support down, but that decision likely won't be made until Monday or Tuesday. At the moment, she is requiring 3LPMs and 100% FiO2.
Everything else seems fine. When she's awake, she's happy and playful. She tolerated her eye patch for a full 1.5 hrs yesterday, so we may try for a full 2hrs today.
