Amelia Elizabeth was born on April 2, 2009 at 12:08 am. She finally made it home after a NICU stay of 335 days. We are so happy to finally be together as a family. Amelia has grown to be a very happy, joyful and social baby. We are thankful for all the people that worked together with Amelia to bring her home safely. Now the fun begins!

WOWOWOW!!!! Go Amelia, Todd and Christina! This is such awesome news! I can't wait to hear more. Post soon please? Also pictures of the baby girl, one last photo shoot before she leave the Nicu behind forever :) -RLC
I guess Amelia has her own agenda. Unbeknownst to us, her uphill climb has come to an end and she is beginning to look around and wants what she sees. (The best view is yet to come Amelia--Memorial Hermann in your car's rear view mirror.) Your Mommy and Daddy, your real home with pets, and all your family and friends that are waiting for you are now all within reach.
This is the time that we have all been praying for--the time when you can finally carry sweet Amelia home in your arms and be the family you were meant to be. God alone knew the schedule that she would follow and only He knows what will happen next.
You two will be good parents if you will just remember to tuck away all those memories of what has transpired in caring for her in these first 8 months; so that from now on she will be treated just like any other 5 month old. She already has the both of you tightly wrapped around her pinkies, and it will be difficult to convince yourselves that she should be properly disciplined as necessary because of all that she has been through. But believe me, she will use that to her best advantage, so beware.
Continue to love her with all your being and you will be rewarded abundantly with a smile, a look, or another chance at playing possum. It will not be easy--but it will be the most rewarding job you will ever think to hold. Nothing else will EVER come close.
So relax, take each day for what it is; a gift. We are all behind the both of you and look forward to being a part of all that is to come. Love MOM/Grammy
Oh my gosh! How fantastic! What a wonderful Christmas present. Todd, take a deep breath. You guys are ready for this. Know one knows their child better than her parents. Trust your instincts and go with them. Never 2nd guess yourself and move forward. I am so proud and happy for the three of you. Love, Susan Jones
Ok you can't just drop a bomb like that and then not give details!!! I think I have checked this page 200 times since you posted she'll be coming home!! I NEED DETAILS!!
