She's been really fussy at the hospital unless she's being held, but appears very happy right now. She slept very little the last few days, but we're hoping back in the home environment she will get back on a regular schedule. They still don't know what triggered her distress, but the guess is an unknown cold virus - and though she's on 2 antibiotics for bacteria they found while in the hospital, the amount of the bad stuff found isn't enough to truly have set her off. It is rather scary to know that such a simple thing as a cold pushed her that far over the edge. We were getting bolder with her as we got outside of flu and RSV season, but we may need to err on the side of caution for a while longer.
She had lots of visitors while in the PICU - all her former primary nurses and therapists, RTs, her current pediatricians, and her main NICU dr, Dr Kahn. (He didn't blame us for the problems, which made me feel a little better).
(She's satting 99-100 and already back down to 1.25Lpm).
On another note, Nathan is doing well after his heart surgery. Thank you for those who sent prayers his way.

So happy my little sweet patootie has bounced back and is getting stronger by the day. Those are terrific numbers--99/100 at 1.25Lpm. I know she must miss all her primary caretakers and not really know it until she sees them again. They were all so much a part of her life, they too have to have missed seeing her as well.
Special prayers are being offered daily for Nathan, Jake and Amelia....those three are never far from so many faith filled prayer and rosary groups. We continue to place their names on the prayer list at Corpus Christi each and every 7:00AM Sunday morning Mass.
