Ladies Who Lunch

Last Friday my mother-in-law's Bridge Club (Mrs. Hess, Mrs. Cloyes and Mrs. Neal) met at Brennan's downtown and invited Amelia and me to lunch with them! They had been wanting to meet Amelia and inspect her up close.

Looking cozy on Mrs. Neal's lap.

Ba da da da da, We're Lovin' It!

I don't know what to do with this thing in my hand. Is it a toy mommy?

The waiter brought me these nice balloons. Be sure to tip him generously!
Amelia got a nice experience watching all her great aunties, grandmom and mom eat at a fancy pants restaurant. What next grandmom? Manicures? Shopping sprees at the Galleria? Just give her a call. I am sure she can fit it into her schedule!

I can't tell you how proud I was of the perfect granddaughter that sat like a little lady during the whole dining moment...never making a sound but making happy smiles all the while! (Mommy behaved well, too.) I know everyone was impressed! Grandmom

My, My, Miss Amelia and Mommy are surely enjoying themselves, this day! I don't think it will ever be a problem taking her out--she is so good natured. And I think from the collective looks on the faces of these ladies, Amelia's close inspection found her to be quite acceptable, indeed.

Keep up the good work, girls. I know Gmom and this Grammy are certainly proud of you. MOM/Grammy
