Putting It All Together

Here are a few highlights from her PT session this morning. Her therapist says her walking looks better than it did even a week ago. A lot less drunk sailory. It is hard for me to believe that she only took her first steps at the beginning of July!

She decided to try some fine motor skills games. She gave her some coins to put through a slot in a cool whip container. She was able to manipulate the coin pretty well, but the concept of holding it up and down instead of flat against the lid to put it in the hole, was a little confusing to her to begin with. She eventually got it.

Octagonal nesting boxes that she had to put together. I was very impressed because this is the first time she has ever done it.




Putting beads on a pipe cleaner.


Tolerating lobsters on her head. Actually she was supposed to match up the baby and the mamma animals, but I think that task was a little too advanced for her.
