A Mermaid Tale
We are winging it today! Amelia went to a birthday party today and there was face
painting. It was her first time to go through the process, so they did a
super quick design --- a butterfly. She didn't interact much with the
other kids, but she did have a good time. She found the sidewalk chalk
and ate lots of chocolate ice cream. It was an Under the Sea theme and
there was a mermaid game that involved being put in a hefty bag, having
your legs duct taped together, and dragging yourself across the floor.
Shockingly, she didn't seem to mind this at all.

Those wings she had on yesterday go perfectly with the face paint of today. I see a costume emerging. I sure hope that face painter knows she has a job come Halloween.~!
