Pulmonology Report

Amelia had her pulmonology appointment today. She will be monitored while using no oxygen at night and if she doesn't go below 90 on her saturations and doesn't trip the pulsox monitor, we can take her off forever. The doctor wants us to keep the oxygen around through the winter (when flu season is at its height) just in case she gets in distress, but once spring comes, we can call home health and have them take all this stuff away! The doctor said if he did not know her history, he would not even be able to tell she was a preemie with chronic lung disease. Another major milestone in our rear view mirror!
