Snack Attack

Amelia is doing great. She is satting very well on 1/8 liter both day and night. Her echo came back with normal pressures, so she is off the sildenifil forever! She is actively trying to pull up on the sofa to a stand and Todd said he saw her standing in her crib once a few days ago.

Sunday we went to a Superbowl party at Uncle Billy's house. He even let "Snooks Junior" pick the numbers for the squares. There were a lot of people there that had not seen her in months. Everyone says her eye looks good, so the patching is paying off. She had fun visiting and mingling with everyone.

Daddy was not happy with the numbers she picked, but Aunt Pat sure was!

Yesterday I had her in my office in her ball pit and she was she was scooping up the balls with her left hand, transferring them to her right and then dropping them on the tile floor. She had a system. At first they were rolling and then she really got into it and they bounced. This cracked her up and she could not stop laughing. She nearly emptied the whole ball pit and of course was very pleased with herself.

Today we had feeding therapy and physical therapy and she did ok in feeding and great in physical. The OT says she takes bites but she holds food in her mouth and we cannot get her to eat enough quantity. She has not eaten since 6:00 this morning so I though when I got home I'd put her straight in her high chair and dip a couple graham crackers in nutella and see what she'd do with them. Well she ate several REAL bites is what she did! She put it in her mouth, took a nibble, chewed and swallowed. I am beyond excited.

Afternoon snack.

Proof that she has eaten a graham cracker!

Nutella---It isn't just for breakfast anymore! Aunt Katie discovered the stuff in Europe a few years ago and she and Aunt Bockie have a serious addiction to the concoction.

Looks like Amelia (Snookie J)has hit her stride. Can walking be far behind? Love Grammy
