Amelia loves ice cream! Today the kids had a Valentine's party at school. They got lots of cards and candy and then they ate a bowl of ice cream covered in whipped cream, syrup and bits of chocolate candies on top. I helped Amelia use a spoon and she was gobbling it up. Pretty soon she was grabbing the spoon from me and trying to do it herself. She did a good job, though she was a sticky mess when she was done. She even ate the little bits of candy on it. It melted quite a bit before she could eat it all, but she ate a lot of it.
After the ice cream and Mickey Mouse video, it was bubble time. The teacher blew bubbles and the kids ran around all hopped up on sugar and were dancing and popping them. She had a great time.
